Then run cTiVo again. I would say you're not getting any such msgs (e.g. From the logs, on your machine, we're definitely launching the Bonjour search ("searching for Bonjour" msg), and yet it doesn't fail (no "Bonjour service not found" msg), and yet never reports in (no "Found Service" msg). The way a netServiceBrowser works is we launch one, and (assuming it launches ok) it sends in msgs as it sees each matching service on the network. If you are only using cTiVo to access a remote TiVo, you will need to go to the Edit->TiVo menu to add the details about the remote TiVo. You will then be asked for the Media Access Key (MAK) for that TiVo again. If you previously chose 'Ignore' for all TiVos during the initial configuration process, you can re-enable them in the Edit->TiVo menu. I can rip physical DVDs on my PC, and transfer to and play them on my TiVo. Pretty much any mpeg-2, mp4, flv, etc, obtained from anywhere, can be sent back to your TiVo. These videos don't have to be TiVo generated, either. Most current hardware does support the Bonjour protocol, so this would be an unusual circumstance. In any case, with my non-hydra Roamio and Bolt, I can transfer video from my PC running pyTivo to either TiVo. ![]() If there is a TiVo on your network, please make sure that your router and other network hardware support Bonjour. If you see this message, then it has taken longer than usual to find a TiVo on your network. ![]() After a short while an error message comes up saying:ĬTiVo searches your local network using Bonjour to find any TiVo's. When I start up cTiVo the message Searching for TiVos. I also tried using the newest alpha version of cTiVo (Version 2.4.0b3 (507)). I've restarted my iMac and my TiVo to no avail. Nothing else has changed that I can think of. This seems to have started after I installed the most recent security update for 10.9.5 (Security Update 2014-005, Version 1.0). However all of a sudden it no longer can find my TiVo. CTiVo had been working well for me for a while (thanks for a great application!).
